Will miss start of season Alabama head coach Kalen DeBoer said Rogers (leg) "won't be ready to go right when the season starts," per Charlie Potter of On3.com.

Impact Rogers was carted off the field after suffering a left leg injury during this past Saturday's A-Day game. The 6-foot-2 wide receiver's ailment will now keep him out at least through fall camp, if not after the Crimson Tide's season is underway.

Carted off during scrimmage Rogers was carted back to the locker room with a brace on his left leg after falling while trying to catch a pass in Saturday's A-Day game, Mike Rodak of 247Sports.com reports.

Impact Concern seems to be very real for Rogers, who appeared to injure his left leg while coming to the ground for an incomplete pass in the end zone. Rogers is a transfer from N.C. State and was expected to have an impactful role right away in the passing game.

The big-play threat has been targeted at least four times in both of his appearances this season, though. Rogers has already tied his 2024 receiving touchdown total.

Impact Rogers was one of NC State's top receivers in 2024, finishing second on the team in receiving yards (478) and third in receptions (35). With KC Concepcion transferring out of the program, it looked as though Rogers was headed for an even larger role. However, it was players like Wesley Grimes and Teddy Hoffmann who stepped up in Week 1. Rogers' production should be better in future weeks, but fantasy managers should proceed with a little bit of caution.
