GAME LOG

In uniform for warmups Rogers (leg) is in uniform for warmups ahead of Saturday's game versus Florida State, Mike Rodak of 247Sports.com reports.
Impact A report on Friday indicated that Rogers would miss Saturday's contest, so it's best to consider him doubtful unless something suggests otherwise. Rogers has yet to appear in a contest for the Crimson Tide while recovering from a leg injury, but his appearance in uniform during warmups suggests a return is on the horizon.
15 HOURS AGO • ROTOWIRE
Not ready for Week 3 Rogers (leg) is not ready to make his return for Saturday's game against Florida State, Pete Nakos of On3.com reports.
Impact Rogers will have missed Alabama's first three games of 2026, and he will risk sitting out all of the team's September schedule should he not be ready Sept. 26 in SEC action against South Carolina. Before then, the Crimson Tide will publicize multiple availability reports, which should give a better indication of his physical progress as October comes to a close. In both 2024 and 2025, Rogers logged 400-plus receiving yards for North Carolina State, but by sitting out a lot of the Tide's early games, he risks suffering an overall statistical skid in 2026.
1 DAY AGO • ROTOWIRE
Expected to return soon Rogers (leg) is expected to return in the next week or two, Mike Rodak of 247Sports reports.
Impact Rogers' updated timeline suggests he should return either this Saturday against Florida State or the following Saturday against South Carolina. Either way, the wide receiver would be able to begin his Alabama career debut in September, not going the whole month having sat out due to his injured leg. For the time being, the immediate question is whether Rogers can debut Week 3 against Florida State, potentially giving Rogers a familiar foe to work with. Surprisingly, despite Rogers' impressive 2025, his worst game of the year was against FSU, as he was limited to a single target and zero receptions.
5 DAYS AGO • ROTOWIRE
Out vs. Kentucky Rogers (leg) is out for Saturday's game at Kentucky.
Impact Rogers is reportedly getting closer to returning, but this game comes too soon for the senior wideout. His next chance to play will come against Florida State in Week 3 on Sept. 19, and in the meantime, Rico Scott, Cederian Morgan and Derek Meadows are all in line to see more targets.
SEPTEMBER 9 • ROTOWIRE
Getting closer to returning Rogers (leg) is getting closer to a return, as he's considered not too far behind Jireh Edwards and AK Dear, both of whom "you could see here very soon" according to head coach Kal...
Impact Rogers' return appears sooner rather than later at this point. The wideout could still be sidelined for several weeks, but this is a positive update and it sounds as though the NC State transfer is nearing a return to the gridiron. When he does suit up for the Crimson Tide, he'll join a wide receiver room that already features Ryan Coleman-Williams, Lotzeir Brooks and Rico Scott, among others.
SEPTEMBER 7 • ROTOWIRE
Doesn't play as expected Rogers (leg) did not play in Saturday's season opener versus East Carolina.
Impact Rogers wasn't expected to return to action until later in the month, but he was surprisingly in uniform for warmups prior to the opening kickoff. That suggests Rogers could return sooner than expected, so it will be worth monitoring his listing on the team's first availability report Wednesday ahead of the conference opener versus Kentucky next Saturday.
SEPTEMBER 5 • ROTOWIRE
In uniform for pregame warmups Rogers (leg) is in uniform for warmups before Saturday's game against East Carolina, Mike Rodak of 247Sports reports.
Impact Surprisingly, not long after Rogers announced he would return to action in about a month, he is practicing for Alabama's game the next day. It would be even more surprising if the wide receiver somehow plays against East Carolina, especially with the implications of the Crimson Tide's upcoming game (their regular-season opener) not being so great. Rogers being in uniform does not eliminate the possibility of Rogers sitting out multiple games, as his leg injury was expected to make him do.
SEPTEMBER 5 • ROTOWIRE
Aiming to return in about a month Rogers (leg) is targeting a late September or early October return, according to Pete Nakos of On3.
Impact Rogers was banged up during a spring scrimmage for Alabama, and has been limited ever since. The receiver has reportedly progressed well throughout fall camp, however, and he may only miss the first month or so of the Crimson Tide's season. The NC State transfer reeled in 33 catches for 441 yards two scores last fall.
SEPTEMBER 4 • ROTOWIRE
Progressing well in recovery Rogers (leg) is progressing well in his recovery, Nick Kelly of AL.com reports.
Impact By progressing well in his recovery, Rogers may log a quicker return than expected, though he will miss at least a few games. Although he will miss Alabama's regular-season opener and conference opener at Kentucky, he may be available by the second half of September, and the Crimson Tide kick off that part of their schedule by hosting Florida State in Week 3. FSU was one of the few opponents Rogers struggled against last season with North Carolina State, so he would like to exact a measure of revenge as part of a stronger team this season.

Practicing on limited basis Rogers (leg) is back at practice in a limited role for the Crimson Tide, per Chris Low of On3.com.
Impact After initially being thought to miss a good chunk of the season, Rogers is expected back in action sooner rather than later. Head coach Kalen DeBoer said, "he's still going to miss some games, but his timeline has been significantly sped up." The transfer from NC State could now return as soon as late September, a huge positive for the Crimson Tide offense.

Participating in practice Rogers (leg) was seen participating in Alabama's team practice on Sunday, per Charlie Potter of On3.com.
Impact Rogers was previously expected to miss the beginning of the 2026 season due to a leg injury, but it appears he may be close to a return. The 6-foot-2 receiver is expected to be a contributor on offense after transferring in from North Carolina State in the offseason, where he caught 33 passes for 441 yards and a pair of touchdowns a year ago. While his return to practice is certainly encouraging to see, his status for the start of the 2026 season remains in question, barring any further updates.

Will miss start of season Alabama head coach Kalen DeBoer said Rogers (leg) "won't be ready to go right when the season starts," per Charlie Potter of On3.com.
Impact Rogers was carted off the field after suffering a left leg injury during this past Saturday's A-Day game. The 6-foot-2 wide receiver's ailment will now keep him out at least through fall camp, if not after the Crimson Tide's season is underway.
APRIL 13 • ROTOWIRE
Carted off during scrimmage Rogers was carted back to the locker room with a brace on his left leg after falling while trying to catch a pass in Saturday's A-Day game, Mike Rodak of 247Sports.com reports.
Impact Concern seems to be very real for Rogers, who appeared to injure his left leg while coming to the ground for an incomplete pass in the end zone. Rogers is a transfer from N.C. State and was expected to have an impactful role right away in the passing game.

Headed to Tuscaloosa Rogers will transfer to Alabama, per Matt Zenitz of CBSSports.com.
Impact Rogers began his career at Ohio State before transferring to NC State, where he became a vital part of the Wolfpack passing attack immediately. Over the past two seasons, he reeled in 68 catches for 919 yards and three touchdowns. The 6-foot-2, 197-pound wideout will have two years of eligibility remaining with the Crimson Tide.
JANUARY 12 • ROTOWIRE
Plans to enter transfer portal Rogers plans to enter the transfer portal, Hayes Fawcett of On3.com reports.
Impact Come Jan. 2, when the college football transfer portal opens, Rogers will be in pursuit of a new team for his redshirt junior campaign. The 6-foot-2 wide receiver recorded two seasons with NC State, where he amassed 68 catches for 919 yards and three touchdowns across 26 games. He'll have two years of eligibility remaining.
DECEMBER 26, 2025 • ROTOWIRE
Draws nine targets Rogers reeled in 7 of 9 targets for 72 yards during Saturday's 48-36 victory versus Georgia Tech.
Impact Rogers set season highs in receptions, targets and receiving yards Saturday, but he fell short of scoring his third receiving touchdown of the campaign. The redshirt sophomore was the lone Wolfpack player to catch more than four passes Saturday, and his 72 yards ranked second on the team.
