GAME LOG

Partaking in spring camp Ford is practicing with Stanford this spring, per On3.
Impact Ford missed the final game of Stanford's season last fall, and two other games throughout the campaign as well. Still, he had a good year for the Cardinal, rushing for 643 yards and four touchdowns on 145 carries. He appears to be at full strength in spring practices, and should be Stanford's top back in 2026.

DNP for Week 14 Ford (undisclosed) didn't play in Saturday's loss to Notre Dame.
Impact Ford has missed three of the team's last five games to end the season. With Stanford not bowl eligible, Ford will finish the campaign having carried the ball 145 times for 643 yards and four touchdowns in addition catching 11 passes for 119 yards across nine outings.

Huge workload in win Ford logged 29 carries for 150 yards and one touchdown and caught their only target for seven yards during Saturday's 31-10 win against California.
Impact Ford saw 30 touches for the first time this season, and hit the 150 rushing-yard threshold for the second time in nine games. The sophomore running back has been held back by some poor offensive performances by the Cardinal, but he's gotten back on track since Stanford turned to quarterback Elijah Brown. In the two games Brown has started, Ford has rushed 46 times for 218 yards and caught three passes for 42 yards.

Tops 100 yards from scrimmage Ford accrued 17 carries for 68 yards and gathered in 2 of 3 targets for 35 yards during Saturday's 20-15 loss versus North Carolina.
Impact Ford, returning from a two-game absence due to injury, logged his most rushing yards since Week 3 and caught multiple passes for the first time since Week 5. While the sophomore tailback didn't find the endzone, he did exceed 100 yards from scrimmage for the third time in 2025.
NOVEMBER 10, 2025 • ROTOWIRE
Good to go Saturday Ford is good to go for Saturday's game at North Carolina, per the ACC availability report
Impact Ford, who missed the last two games due to a leg injury, is now off the injury report and will be available for Saturday's cross-country contest. Prior to his injury he rushed 99 times for 425 yards and three touchdowns. He will likely lead the Cardinal backfield now that he's healthy.
NOVEMBER 6, 2025 • ROTOWIRE
Won't play Saturday Ford (leg) is out for Saturday's game against Pitt.
Impact Ford will miss a second straight game after injuring his leg against Florida State on Oct. 18. The Cardinal will be without Ford and Tuna Altahir (undisclosed), leaving Cole Tabb as the bell cow back until more guys get healthy.
OCTOBER 31, 2025 • ROTOWIRE
Questionable for Week 10 Ford (leg) is questionable for Saturday's game against Pitt.
Impact Ford's status is in question after he was unable to go last Saturday following an injury in Week 8. His status is worth monitoring heading into Saturday's contest. Both Ford and Cole Tabb have run the ball well this season and likely would see a split in carries if both are active.

Key Stanford playmaker out for game vs. Hurricanes The Cardinal will not have leading rusher Micah Ford when it faces the Hurricanes on Saturday.
OCTOBER 24, 2025 • ORLANDOSENTINEL.COM
Out Saturday Ford (undisclosed) is out for Saturday's game at Miami, per the ACC availability report.
Impact Ford, who was injured in last Saturday's win over Florida State, will miss Week 9 due to that same injury. It's currently unclear what he is dealing with, but it's clearly serious enough to cost him a game. He has rushed 99 times for 425 yards and three touchdowns so far this season, so needless to say his contributions will be missed. With Tuna Altahir (undisclosed) also out, Cole Tabb is set to lead the Cardinal backfield Saturday.

Exits with injury, doesn't return Ford left Saturday's 20-13 win over Florida State after suffering an apparent leg injury, SI.com reports.
Impact Ford required assistance while leaving the field of play in the second quarter, and the star tailback didn't return to the contest. Ford turned eight carries into 25 yards and didn't score before exiting. Cole Tabb, in relief of Ford, handled 28 carries. Stanford's next game comes Saturday, Oct. 25 at Miami.

Bottled up by SMU Ford accrued 16 carries for 53 yards during Saturday's 34-10 defeat versus Southern Methodist.
Impact After seeing merely seven carries last time out, Ford saw a full allotment of rushing attempts against the Mustangs. However, Stanford's offense struggled to move the football, resulting in a mediocre final stat line for Ford. The sophomore running back has topped 110 rushing yards twice this season, but he's finished with under 45 rushing yards in three contests, as well.
OCTOBER 13, 2025 • ROTOWIRE
Limited workload in win Ford recorded seven carries for 12 yards and hauled in all four targets for 64 yards during Saturday's 30-29 victory versus San Jose State.
Impact Stanford had plenty of success through the air, so Ford's services weren't needed as much as weeks prior. However, he was outcarried 12 to seven by Cole Tabb. Ford made up for his shortcomings as a rusher by reeling in four passes for 64 yards - a mark held up by a 54-yard catch and run. Ford outcarried Tabb 13 to seven last week. Through five games, Ford has racked up 347 rushing yards and three touchdowns.

Finds endzone against UVA Ford posted 13 carries for 44 yards and one touchdown and hauled in their only target for four yards during Saturday's 48-20 defeat against Virginia.
Impact Ford scored a rushing touchdown for the third time in four games, punching it in from three yards late in the first half. The sophomore tailback has had a volatile start to the campaign, finishing with fewer than 45 yards twice but topping 110 yards in the other two contests. In total, Ford has 335 rushing yards on 4.9 yards per carry.

Stifled in Week 2 Ford posted 12 carries for 21 yards and caught 1 of 2 targets for seven yards during Saturday's 27-3 defeat against Brigham Young.
Impact Ford's 2025 campaign began with a 113-yard performance against Hawaii, but the tailback fell well short of his Week 0 production Saturday. He handled just 12 carries as the Cardinal fell behind early, and Tuna Altheir, who didn't play in the opener, surprisingly logged six rushing attempts. Stanford has made it clear they want to be a run-first team, but that strategy is difficult to maintain when playing from behind, which they could be doing a lot of this season.

Dominates carries in opener Ford logged 26 carries for 113 yards and one touchdown and gathered in 2 of 5 targets for two yards during Saturday's 23-20 loss against Hawaii.
Impact The Cardinal featured Ford out of the backfield in Week 0, outcarrying Sedrick Irvin 26-10. Ford's physicality made him a consistent threat to the Rainbow Warriors, averaging 4.3 yards per carry with a longest rush of 17 yards. Interim head coach Frank Reich used a workhorse back in each of his six seasons as an NFL head coach, and it looks like Ford will fill that role for Stanford in 2025, making the sophomore a valuable fantasy asset with a high floor.
