Carted off Saturday Long (undisclosed) was carted off with an injury during Saturday's game for Air Force, according to Brent Briggeman of The Colorado Springs Gazette.

Impact Long was helped off the field Saturday after suffering an undisclosed injury significant enough for him to be carted away. Before exiting in the fourth quarter, the wideout hauled in one reception for 18 yards.

Deemed starter for Falcons Long is listed as a starter on Air Force's Week 1 depth chart.

Impact Long will get a great chance to build on the five carries for 23 yards he notched last fall. The 5-10 wideout will be limited as a receiver by Air Force's triple-option offense, but he should still improve upon his statistics from a quiet 2026. Long appears poised to assume the Cade Harris role from last year's Air Force team, a versatile player who notched 61 carries for 321 yards and 35 catches for 584 yards last fall.
