Impact Murphy looked like Oregon State's QB2 in warmups, but per a video board announcement, it appears the quarterback will indeed hold down the starting job after he was benched in the Beavers' last game, a 45-13 win over FCS Lafayette. Gabarri Johnson will ride the bench, but Murphy's leash looks short here.

Impact Murphy has completed 57.6 percent of his passes for 1,650 yards and a 9:8 TD:INT while quarterbacking the Beavers to an 0-7 record. The team turned to Gabarri Johnson in an expanded role in Week 7, with Johnson attempting 12 passes to Murphy's 30. It's unclear how snaps will be divvied up going forward, but it looks like a two-quarterback system could be the norm moving forward.
