Impact Loya may help fill a void or two expected to be left after Minnesota's team loses Daniel Jackson and Elijah Spencer because of maximized collegiate eligibility. Both were easily the 2024 Golden Gophers' top-two wideouts. They also primarily served as slot receivers, a role Loya has been for 84 percent of his nearly 1,300 snaps as a student athlete. Primarily serving as a slot option for UCLA helped him log at least 250 yards and three touchdowns each year from 2022 to 2024. This year, Loya recorded 29 receptions for 348 yards (12 averaged per reception) and four TDs across 11 games.

Impact Loya tallied season-highs across the board in yet another blowout loss for the Bruins.
