Impact Avant led the team in rushing attempts and yards Saturday, gaining 60 rushing yards in his second consecutive game. He split carries with Anthony Watkins (13 carries for 46 yards and a touchdown), suggesting that the Golden Hurricane may have a one-two punch in the backfield. Avant's involvement this early in his time with Tulsa bodes very well for not only the rest of this season, but the rest of his career.
