Expected to miss a month Martin (lower body) will be out for at least a month, per Pete Thamel of ESPN.com.
Impact Martin suffered a lower-body injury during last week's game against TCU, and the multi-week timeline will sideline the running back for crucial upcoming matchups. His absence leaves a void in the BYU backfield after recording 334 yards and three touchdowns on 44 attempts in four games. Journee Tonga is expected to handle the bulk of carries moving forward.

Will be evaluated Sunday Martin (ankle) will be evaluated Sunday after not returning to Saturday's game against TCU in Week 5, Jay Drew of Deseret News reports.
Impact Head coach Kalani Sitake said he doesn't have much information about Martin, but the star tailback will be evaluated Sunday, and that will determine a course to action after he exited Saturday's game. If Martin is forced to miss time, Preston Rex would operate as the Cougars' RB1 while Journee Tonga and Jovesa Damuni would be in line for more touches. But even with replacements in place, losing Martin would be a huge blow to the Cougars' backfield.
