Two TDs in light workload Murrell ran nine times for 88 yards and two touchdowns versus West Georgia on Thursday.

Impact This was a fine debut for Murrell who had 176 carries for 893 yards and three touchdowns last season for, hey, West Georgia. The Owls divvied out the carries, but they also won this game 47-0 and it would have been more had they not taken their foot off the gas at halftime. Getting a sense of how carries will be distributed going forward is unclear, but Murrell certainly made a case for himself here.
