Former Notre Dame WR Kris Mitchell has signed a rookie mini camp deal Notre Dame wide receiver Kris Mitchell will get his shot at the NFL, as he has signed a rookie mini camp deal with the Las Vegas Raiders.
Most catches this season Mitchell gathered in 4 of 5 targets for 32 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 49-7 victory over Stanford.
Impact The hope is that this will be the start of a big second half of the season for Mitchell. To say that it has been a disappointing 2024 for Mitchell would be an understatement. Expectations were high for Mitchell after transferring from Florida International where he collected 1,118 receiving yards and seven touchdowns last season. The senior has only played four games and caught 10 passes for 101 yards along with a touchdown. Against Georgia Tech this Saturday (Oct. 19), the Irish might be looking to throw the ball more against the Yellow Jackets' defense who are more susceptible to the pass.
