Jefferson will be the backup, while EJ Colson will get the chance to start. Jefferson has a 7:4 TD:INT on the season through five starts while completing a career-low 59.3 percent of his passes.

Impact Although Jefferson did a little bit of everything against the Buffaloes, the Knights ultimately fell short and dropped to 3-1 after a strong start. Jefferson threw two key interceptions in the loss, and it's a testament to a much-improved Colorado defense for containing UCF's dynamic offense. Jefferson will try to keep the production going against intrastate rival Florida next week.

Impact Jefferson saw a huge jump in completions in Week 3, which is critical for his receivers to correlate positively in fantasy formats. The former Arkansas transfer is one of the better dual-threat quarterbacks in the FBS, and he's improving steadily during UCF's three-game win streak. A floor for Jefferson is beginning to form, with multiple touchdowns through the air or on the ground are likely to occur weekly.
