Faster with more weight Miller has added 20 pounds and has been described as faster going into his 2026 season, Pete Nakos of On3.com reports.

Impact Adding 20 pounds has increased Miller's weight to 225, which should make him more difficult for opposing defenders to tackle. Add the weight with increased speed, and the combination should form a strong formula for an improved 2026 season. In 2025, Miller logged 156 rushing attempts for 972 yards and eight touchdowns to go with 16 receptions for 111 yards. Even though reaching four digits in all-purpose yards would be difficult to improve on, 2026 is more to see if Miller can maintain the output with a healthy Waymond Jordan (knee) no longer injured, and Miller's physical improvements at least suggest he has a better chance than before.

Impact Miller once again led the Trojans' backfield and dominated the workload in this one with Waymond Jordan (ankle) still sidelined and Bryan Jackson and Eli Sanders sitting it out as well. USC will presumably aim to add some backfield depth in some way this offseason, but the tandem of Miller and Jordan could prove to be one of college football's best 1-2 punch combos in 2026 if btoh stay in LA. Despite only taking on a sizable workload from Week 7 on, Miller closed out his redshirt freshman season with 156 carries for 972 yards and eight touchdowns, adding 16 catches for 111 yards on 20 targets as a receiver.

Logs 166 yards of total offense Miller compiled 17 rushes for 124 yards and two touchdowns and reeled in all four targets for 42 yards during Saturday's 29-10 victory against UCLA.

Impact Miller finished his breakout season with another great total. He filled in at running back beginning in Week 7, and he ended the season with 873 rushing yards and seven touchdowns. Although there are several unanswered questions in store for the Trojans, Miller's status may be the cloudiest. Waymond Jordan could have played in the season finale, and it's entirely possible that he'll show up in USC's bowl game. Jordan will likely play one year of college ball because his injury took him off of draft boards, so where would that leave Miller for 2026? USC has a habit of finding at least one good running back in the portal every year, but they may not need to do that if Miller, Jordan and Eli Sanders all stay. Lincoln Riley would obviously like a deep room, but one or more of these backs will likely leave the program if they don't have some assurances.

Impact Miller logged his worst rushing total of the season in the loss, which sent the Trojans hurling off the playoff bubble. The Oregon defensive front was unforgiving, and Miller's struggles forced USC's offense into an exploitable, one-dimensional unit that relied more on the air. Although Miller has performed admirably as the backup this season, one can only speculate how a healthy Waymind Jordan could have changed USC's fortunes.

Finds success against Iowa defense Miller accrued 19 rushes for 83 yards and hauled in 0 of 1 targets for zero yards during Saturday's 26-21 victory against Iowa.

Impact The Hawkeyes are usually stout against the run, but Miller was able to find openings thanks to a stout performance from USC's offensive line. Although Bryan Jackson scored the rushing touchdowns for the squad, Miller continues to be the primary contributor and will try to push another good total against Oregon this week.

Impact Miller ran all over the Wildcats, and it seems that Lincoln Riley finally got the hint after trying to force too many pass plays against Nebraska. It's obvious that USC's offensive line can create holes regardless of who is carrying the ball, and Riley needs to accept the fact that sometimes it's the best way to move his offense. Miller has been impressive in relief, although he'll have his work cut out for him against Iowa.
