Tallies 63 yards Raphael had nine rushes for 63 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 30-20 victory over Louisiana Tech.

Impact Raphael led the way for the Wolfpack on the ground with 63 rushing yards. It wasn't a particularly explosive day for the North Carolina State offense, but the RB2 was easily the most productive runner despite getting out-carried by starter Jordan Waters. His carries have increased every week this season, and if he can continue to make the most of them - finding the end zone also helps - he could turn this into a committee backfield.

Backup role in Week 1 Raphael posted three rushes for 24 yards and caught all two targets for negative one yard during Thursday's 38-21 win over Western Carolina.

Impact Raphael was limited to three carries, as the top halfback Jordan Waters dominated the backfield share with 20. Considering this was a game against a clearly inferior opponent and Jordan Waters still took the majority of the reps, it seems as though this backfield won't be much of a committee. Raphael will get his touches here and there, but this is Waters' backfield until further notice.
