Named starting QB for Week 2 Semonza will be Tulane's starting quarterback Saturday against South Alabama, Guerry Smith of The New Orleans Advocate reports.

Impact Semonza will replace Zeon Chriss-Gremillion as Tulane's starting quarterback and play all of Week 2 barring any major problems with his performance. Back in Week 1, Semonza was brought in as relief for Chriss-Gremillion, who was pulled early at Duke due to poor performance. Even though Semonza did not log any touchdowns and barely completed more than of his 21 pass attempts then, he recorded 140 passing yards and did not turn the ball over against the ACC side. Relatively speaking, Semonza also has a much better chance to acclimate, since Tulane's next opponent is a non-Power Conference FBS team.
