Impact Lewis started the last two games for Colorado, but given that the true freshman has already appeared in four contests, he'll sit out Week 14 in order to preserve his redshirt for the 2025 season. Lewis will still have four years of eligibility moving forward, while Kaidon Salter will draw the start against Kansas State. Lewis finishes his true freshman season with 589 yards and four touchdowns on 55.3 percent completion.

Quiet in Saturday's loss Lewis completed 19 of 38 passes for 161 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 42-17 defeat versus Arizona State. He also had nine rushes for negative four yards.
Impact Lewis made his second straight start Saturday and this one went worse than the first. He completed just 50 percent of his passes for only 161 yards, although he threw one touchdown to Omarion Miller. He has not turned the ball over yet this season on 94 pass attempts, a promising sign for the freshman's future. He will look to end the season on a high note Saturday at Kansas State in the regular season finale.
