Not expected to start Week 5 Lewis is not expected to start Saturday's game against Texas Tech, Matt Zenitz of CBS Sports reports.

Impact Lewis has started each of Colorado's four games this season, his best performance a 366-yard output in Week 2 against Weber State. But last week against Baylor, he was pulled in favor of Isaac Wilson, who is projected to start Week 5 in Lewis' place. Excluding Week 2, he failed to log multiple touchdowns in his other three performances, and the team won only one of those three matchups.

Bench at halftime Lewis completed 11 of 16 passes for 75 yards during Saturday's 23-13 defeat against Baylor.

Impact Lewis led one scoring drive in seven attempts in the first drive, leading him to be benched in favor of Isaac Wilson. Wilson got the offense moving a bit better in the second half, but by no means did he run away with the job. It's too early to tell who will start under center for the Buffaloes in a difficult matchup Saturday versus Texas Tech.

Impact Lewis tossed a pair of interceptions in Saturday's blowout loss to Northwestern. Outside of his 50-yard touchdown pass to Joseph Williams he and the offense were unable to get anything to work against the Big Ten defense. Lewis now has combined for 292 passing yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions in his two games this season versus power conference teams. He will hope to turn that around quickly with conference play starting on Saturday at Baylor.

Excellent in Saturday's win Lewis completed 17 of 23 passes for 366 yards and four touchdowns during Saturday's 52-21 victory over Weber State. He also had four rushes for -23 yards with one touchdown.

Impact After leading a comeback win in Week 1, Lewis was firing on all cylinders in Week 2. He accounted for five touchdowns and threw for over 300 yards for the first time in his career. All four of his touchdowns came from beyond 30 yards out, with two coming from beyond 60. He also scored the first rushing touchdown of his career, a three-yard run late in the first half. Obviously, all of this production came against an FCS opponent, but it's the type of outing that can build confidence for the rest of the season. Next up is a trip to Northwestern on Saturday.
