Impact Despite taking over as Aggies' top tight end, Sterzer came into Saturday with just six receptions of 54 yards in his previous four games. However, the senior turned things around with a big game against the Rainbow Warriors, leading Utah State in receptions, including a pair of two-yard touchdowns. The 6-foot-3 Sterzer now has 166 yards and three scores on 17 receptions this season.

Impact Sterzer put the Aggies ahead late in the fourth quarter with a 10-yard touchdown grab, his first of the year. With Broc Lane (knee) ruled out for the year, Sterzer should certainly see an expanded role going forward as Utah State's primary tight end. The senior had just five receptions for 61 yards on the season prior to Saturday's outing.

Impact Sterzer being reportedly healthy should make his availability status no longer a problem in November. He was unable to log a reception in September or November despite recording 11 catches during 2022. However, Sterzer can impress in November and could still redshirt 2023 if preferred.
