Remains doubtful for Week 3 Dwyer (foot) remains unlikely to play in Week 3 against Arkansas State, per Steven Johnson of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram.
Impact During Week 2, it was reported that Dwyer is nearing a return and he's expected to return to action by Week 4 at UCF at the latest. It now appears that's the most likely date for the receiver's return, as he looks like a long shot to play against the RedWolves. Ed Small and Jeremy Scott will continue to lead the way for the Horned Frogs at receiver.

Jaden Craig leads TCU to bounceback win over Grambling State 63-7

Expected back vs. UCF at latest Dwyer (foot) is nearing a return and is expected to return to action on Sept. 26 at UCF at the latest, per Matt Zenitz of CBSSports.com.
Impact Dwyer has been ruled out for Week 2 against Grambling State, and there's a chance he missed Week 3 against Arkansas State. However, the receiver is trending in the right direction and the current expectation is that the latest he would return is when TCU kicks off Big 12 conference play at the Bounce House.

Won't play vs. Grambling State Dwyer (foot) will remain out for TCU in Week 2 against Grambling State, per Pete Thamel of ESPN.com.
Impact Dwyer missed the Horned Frogs' opener against North Carolina in Dublin, and now the wideout will sit out his second straight game. Expect Ed Small and Jeremy Scott to garner most of the targets at wide receiver in what should be an easy win for TCU. Dwyer, meanwhile, will look to return in Week 3 against Arkansas State.
6 DAYS AGO • ROTOWIRE
Remains questionable for Week 2 Dwyer (foot) is still questionable for TCU's clash with Grambling State in Week 2, per Steven Johnson of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram.
Impact Dwyer missed the Horned Frogs' season opening loss to North Carolina in Week 0, and despite having a bye in Week 1, the wideout could remain sidelined as TCU looks to improve to 1-1. The receiver is TCU's top pass-catcher; his continued absence would hinder the Horned Frogs' passing game.
SEPTEMBER 8 • ROTOWIRE
Could miss Week 2 Dwyer (foot) is in danger of missing TCU's clash with Grambling State in Week 2, per HornedFrogBlitz.
Impact Dwyer missed TCU's opener against North Carolina in Dublin, and he's in danger of making it two straight absences even with a bye week in between. The wideout, who caught 54 passes for 730 yards and seven touchdowns last season, could be staring down an extended absence. Ed Small, who was peppered with targets in Dwyer's absence in the opener, should remain TCU's top receiver in the event the latter misses any more time.

Out versus UNC Dwyer (foot) won't play in Week 0 against North Carolina, per Pete Thamel of ESPN.com.
Impact Dwyer is still bothered by a lingering foot injury and will miss the Horned Frogs' season opener, aiming to recover in time for the team's next game on Sept. 12 against Grambling State. This is a huge loss for TCU's passing attack, as he is the top returning pass catcher, having recorded 54 receptions for 730 yards and 12 touchdowns last season.
AUGUST 29 • ROTOWIRE
HC hopeful for availability TCU's head coach Sonny Dykes said he is hopeful that Dwyer (foot) will be available for Saturday's game against North Carolina, Pete Nakos of On3.com reports.
Impact Dwyer has missed most of TCU's fall camp because of a foot injury dating back to the 2025 Alamo Bowl. TCU will want the top wideout available, and he has experience against UNC, having logged nine receptions for 136 yards in last year's demolition the Horned Frogs handed over the Tar Heels. If he is rendered unavailable, Terry Shelton is expected to cover Dwyer's projected role as a top option.

Foot looking well Dwyer (foot) has been able to catch passes for big yardage in practice, Steven Johnson of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports.
Impact TCU returned to practice Monday, and part of the team's latest session included passing drills, which featured Jaden Craig targeting Dwyer. In particular, Johnson noted a 15-yard completion Craig made to Dwyer, which would require the wideout to make great movement with his feet. All signs point to Dwyer being available when the 2026 Horned Frogs begin their regular season Aug. 29 against North Carolina, and having him healthy will be a huge boost to their receiver corps. After all, Dwyer finished last season's TCU campaign with 54 receptions (on 84 targets) for 730 yards (13.5 averaged per catch) and seven touchdowns, the numbers of a top-tier receiver.
AUGUST 3 • ROTOWIRE
Back in practice Dwyer is back with TCU after working his way back from a foot injury.
Impact This is a positive development for TCU's receiving corps after Dwyer missed the Horned Frogs' bowl game with a foot injury. His return puts him back in the mix ahead of the 2026 season, and if he stays healthy, he should have a sizable role in the team's offense. Dwyer had 54 catches for 730 yards and seven touchdowns in 2025.
JULY 31 • ROTOWIRE
Still recovering from foot injury Dwyer is still working his way back from a foot injury he suffered in the 2025 season, per TCU on SI.
Impact Dwyer transferred from Idaho ahead of the 2025 season, and it's safe to say his skills translated. He caught 54 passes for 730 yards and seven touchdowns with the Horned Frogs, but he hurt his foot and was forced to miss TCU's bowl game. Dwyer will look to return to the field in full capacity in fall camp.
APRIL 10 • ROTOWIRE
Won't play in bowl game Dwyer suffered an apparent foot injury in practice earlier this week and is not expected to play in the Alamo Bowl versus USC on Dec. 30, Chris Hummer of 247Sports.com reports.
Impact Dwyer is a notable loss for the offense, as he finished second on the team in receptions, receiving yards and touchdowns. Joseph Manjack and tight end DJ Rogers should be the biggest beneficiaries in the passing game in Dwyer's place.

Nabs pair of scores vs. Bearcats Dwyer caught 3 of 5 targets for 84 yards and two touchdowns during Saturday's 45-23 victory versus Cincinnati.
Impact Dwyer recorded multiple touchdowns in a single game for the first time this year. He's been opportunistic on his targets over the last six games with six scores. The transfer from Idaho is having a standout season with 54 catches (on 83 targets) for 730 yards and seven touchdowns. It's truly impressive when you consider he plays alongside Eric McAlister who has over 1,000 receiving yards and 10 receiving touchdowns in 2025. TCU will play in a bowl game and Dwyer should be one of the top targets.

Nabs fifth TD in first quarter Dwyer reeled in all three targets for 25 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 17-14 victory versus Houston.
Impact Dwyer grabbed his fifth touchdown of the season as TCU knocked off a ranked Houston team on the road. Dwyer has been a significant contributor for the Horned Frogs with 51 catches (on 78 targets) for 646 yards and five touchdowns on the season. Teammate Eric McAllister went over 1,000 yards receiving for the season against the Cougars as the two have been a dynamic duo for QB Josh Hoover. They'll finish out the regular season against Cincinnati next week.

Five targets in lopsided loss Dwyer notched two receptions (on five targets) for 19 yards during Saturday's 44-13 loss versus Brigham Young.
Impact Dwyer managed just two catches for the second time this season as he's typically more involved in the passing game. QB Josh Hoover struggled mightily against the Cougars' fierce defense. Although it was a low output against BYU, Dwyer has been a productive player in 2025 with 48 catches (on 75 targets) for 621 yards and four touchdowns. TCU will play at Houston next week.
NOVEMBER 16, 2025 • ROTOWIRE
Receives season-high 15 targets Dwyer compiled 11 receptions (on 15 targets) for 108 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 20-17 defeat against Iowa State.
Impact Dwyer recorded his third 100-yard receiving game on a season-high 15 targets against the Cyclones. With QB Josh Hoover airing out the ball most weeks, Dwyer has had a fantastic year with 46 catches (on 69 targets) for 602 yards and four touchdowns. His numbers still trail teammate Eric McAlister who has at least 12 targets in each of his last three games and is Hoover's preferred target in the offense. With TCU's high volume passing game, both McAlister and Dwyer are viable in all fantasy formats each and every week. Dwyer's impressive play will be needed if TCU is to compete at BYU next week.
