CFB Superlatives: Indiana Perseveres, Kirby Smart's Tuscaloosa Win, CFP Impacts

Solid performance in win Mateer was 18-for-26 passing for 155 yards during Saturday's 27-24 victory over Texas. He also had 12 rushes for negative six yards.

Impact Mateer managed a modest passing performance, averaging 6.0 yards-per-attempt but was unable to find the end zone. He delivered when it mattered most, connecting with Isaiah Sategna for chunk gains on Oklahoma's final possession to set up the game-winning field goal. The senior quarterback protected the ball and avoided a turnover for the first time since Week 1 and will look to build on that performance for next week's meeting with Kentucky.
