GAME LOG

Logs sixth rushing score in big win Williams logged 15 carries for 60 yards and one touchdown and caught 2 of 4 targets for 11 yards during Saturday's 49-0 win versus West Virginia.
Impact Williams logged his sixth rushing score of the season for the Red Raiders. He also has two touchdown receptions for eight total scores in 12 games. He's been a consistent back behind Cameron Dickey on the depth chart and has double-digit touches in eight different games this year. He and Dickey will look to continue their successful impact when the team plays BYU in the Big 12 Title game.
NOVEMBER 30 • ROTOWIRE
Logs 11 touches against UCF Williams accrued seven rushes for 45 yards and gathered in all four targets for 30 yards during Saturday's 48-9 win against UCF.
Impact Williams totaled 75 yards in a blowout win over UCF in a game that saw the starters mostly rest in the second half. Williams has capitalized on his role in the passing game with at least two catches in each of last four games. While Cameron Dickey has excelled in the primary running back, Williams is the best pass-catching back with 27 catches (on 32 targets) for 362 yards and two touchdowns. Texas Tech is on a bye next week before playing at West Virginia to close out the regular season.
NOVEMBER 16 • ROTOWIRE
Totals 109 yards against BYU Williams tallied 13 rushes for 77 yards and gathered in 2 of 4 targets for 32 yards during Saturday's 29-7 win over Brigham Young.
Impact Williams totaled over 100 yards for the second straight game. Although teammate Cameron Dickey is the primary runner out of the backfield, Williams has carved out a significant role in this offense. It was clear against BYU that the run-game was the primary form of attack for the Red Raiders. With 600 yards rushing and 333 yards receiving this year, Williams will have a shot at going over 1,000 yards from scrimmage next week. Texas Tech will host Central Florida next week.
NOVEMBER 9 • ROTOWIRE
Season-high 135 rushing yards Williams accrued 17 rushes for 135 yards and one touchdown and reeled in both of his targets for five yards during Saturday's 43-20 win versus Kansas State.
Impact Williams' 135 yards were a season high as he eclipsed the century mark on the ground for the second time this year. Williams now has a touchdown in two straight games despite sharing the backfield with Cameron Dickey. With QB Behren Morton returning from an injury this last week, it's possible Texas Tech leans much heavier on their impressive run-game. Texas Tech has a huge match-up against BYU next week.

Two quick scores against OSU Williams compiled four carries for 10 yards and caught 3 of 4 targets for 60 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 42-0 victory against Oklahoma State. He also returned a kicko...
Impact Williams added a 99-yard kickoff return for a touchdown and a scoring reception within the first couple of minutes of the game. The speedy running back has seven total touchdowns on the season and is the perfect pairing with a bruising running back like Cameron Dickey. Expect both Dickey and Williams to be involved when Texas Tech travels to play Kansas State next week.

Limited impact in loss Williams recorded three rushes for 22 yards and caught his only target for eight yards during Saturday's 26-22 defeat against Arizona State.
Impact Williams did most of his damage on kick returns as he did rack up 87 yards, including a long run to set up one of Texas Tech's late scores. With the Red Raiders falling behind early in the game and breaking in a new starter in QB Will Hammond, they weren't able to lean on the running game due to multiple three-and-out sequences. Williams and the Red Raiders will play Oklahoma State next week.

Logs 48 yards vs. Kansas Williams notched nine rushes for 48 yards during Saturday's 42-17 win over Kansas.
Impact Williams had his lowest output in carries since Week 2 against Kent State. The reason for that is because teammate Cameron Dickey was balling out with 21 carries for 263 yards and two touchdowns. Dickey now has 21 carries in each of his last two games and appears to be the primary option in the backfield. Williams is still a viable option in fantasy leagues because Texas Tech is one of the best teams in the country. However, his upside is limited, especially if Will Hammond, a run-first quarterback, starts playing more moving forward. Texas Tech will play at Arizona State next week.

Breakout game at Houston Williams compiled 19 carries for 107 yards and two touchdowns and reeled in 2 of 3 targets for six yards during Saturday's 35-11 victory over Houston.
Impact Williams recorded his first 100-yard rushing performance of the season and added a pair of rushing scores for the first time in his career. Teammate Cameron Dickey was also wildly successful with 21 carries for 98 yards and a 69-yard touchdown reception. Both Williams and Dickey should continue to receive plenty of volume as the season progresses. Texas Tech will play Kansas next week.

Totals 114 yards against Utes Williams accrued 11 carries for 43 yards and caught both of his targets for 71 yards during Saturday's 34-10 victory versus Utah.
Impact Williams' day was boosted by a 73-yard reception as his other catch went for negative yards. It was his second straight game with double-digit carries. Teammate Cameron Dickey shared the workload out of the backfield with 13 carries for 67 yards and two touchdowns. Dickey has already tallied six rushing scores in the Red Raiders' four games this year. Although Dickey has found the end-zone more, the split of carries has been comparable. Texas Tech is on a bye next week before heading to Houston.

Back-up running back Adam Hill impressed in the second half with 16 carries for 127 yards. Regardless of who is handling the rock, Texas Tech's offense is going to be explosive in 2025. They'll host Oregon State next week.

Will be listed as co-starter Williams will be listed as a co-starter in the backfield ahead of the Aug. 30 game against Arkansas-Pine Bluff, according to Ty Kaplan of The Dallas Morning News.
Impact The Red Raiders lost Quinten Joyner (knee) for the entire season, meaning Williams and Cameron Dickey will split the workload in the backfield -- at least in the opening weeks of the campaign. Williams ran for 236 yards and two scores on 41 carries in 2024, but he should experience a massive increase in his workload going forward.
AUGUST 20 • ROTOWIRE
Workload trending upwards Williams is slated to see more snaps and carries this fall with the news that Quinten Joyner (knee) will miss the entire season, per the Lubbock Avalanche-Journal.
Impact Williams could be the de facto No. 1 running back in Lubbock at this point, although it's important to note that Cameron Dickey is also in the fold. Last season, he ran for 236 yards and two scores on 41 carries (5.8 yards-per-carry). Both backs figure to see plenty of work in Joyner's absence.

Productive in bowl loss Williams notched 15 carries for 123 yards and one touchdown and reeled in 4 of 6 targets for 36 yards during Friday's 39-26 defeat versus Arkansas.
Impact Williams was productive out of the backfield for the Red Raiders, as he averaged 8.2 yards per rush in the loss to Arkansas. Williams finished the campaign with 41 carries for 236 yards and two scores on nine appearances, but his regular-season numbers were rather pedestrian if excluding this bowl loss.
