Adds score against Wildcats Payne had three rushes for 27 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 49-28 victory against Arizona.

Impact Payne was one of four Horned Frogs to record a rushing score against the Wildcats. Teammates Savion Williams and Trent Battle each had two apiece. Payne has 41 carries for 192 yards and three touchdowns in nine games. TCU will finish the regular season at Cincinnati.

NOVEMBER 24 • ROTOWIRE

Logs career-high 11 touches Payne recorded seven rushes for 21 yards during Saturday's 37-34 loss versus Baylor. He also added four catches (on five targets) for 26 yards.

Impact Payne is getting more and more work as the season progresses as the true freshman logged a career-high 11 touches at Baylor. WR Savion Williams has taken over the primary role in the backfield, but Payne is a player to watch as TCU plays in their final games of 2024. They'll go up against Oklahoma State next week and Payne is a sneaky play against a bad defense.

NOVEMBER 3 • ROTOWIRE

Adds second TD this year Payne recorded three rushes for 17 yards and one touchdown and reeled in both of his targets for 20 yards during Saturday's 35-34 victory versus Texas Tech.

Impact Payne added his second touchdown of the season, both scores occurring in his last three games. TCU is cycling through different options at RB and Payne appears to be in that mix. TCU will play Baylor next week.

OCTOBER 27 • ROTOWIRE

Notches first collegiate score Payne tallied three carries for three yards and one touchdown and hauled in both of his targets for nine yards during Friday's 30-19 loss versus Houston.

Impact Payne scored his first collegiate touchdown against the Cougars. Despite averaging just 4.3 rushing attempts per game, the true freshman was able to reach paydirt in TCU's sixth game. Cam Cook remains atop the depth chart; however, Payne is a player to watch to see if he can see more snaps as the season progresses. TCU is off next week before playing at Utah.

OCTOBER 6 • ROTOWIRE

75 total yards for true freshman Payne had eight rushes for 65 yards and hauled in his only target for 10 yards during Saturday's 38-27 win over Kansas.

Impact Payne had his best game with 75 total yards. The true freshman has 25 total touches in five games. It's worth noting that starter Cam Cook did have a lost fumble against Kansas, so maybe Payne will receive an uptick in work over the next couple of games. TCU will play Houston next week.
