Sputters against Red Hawks Love tallied 11 rushes for 60 yards and one touchdown and caught 1 of 2 targets for nine yards during Saturday's 28-3 win over Miami (OH).

Impact Outside of Irish quarterback Riley Leonard, the Notre Dame offense sputtered and did enough to win. The 60 yards was a season-low for Love. The sophomore will look to rebound against Louisville (Sept. 28). The Cards defense is top 20 against the run in the country, but Louisville's schedule has been relatively weak.
