GAME LOG

Records team-high seven targets Tibbs accrued four receptions (on seven targets) for 55 yards during Saturday's 24-14 win over Colorado.
Impact Tibbs was the leading receiver for the Wildcats in a game that didn't see a lot of passing. The contest started with some snow and Kansas State decided to lean heavily on their running game. RB Joe Jackson has combined for 435 rushing yards and six touchdowns on the ground in their last two games. With the win against Colorado, Kansas State is now bowl-eligible, and Tibbs will have one more game in his 2025 campaign.
NOVEMBER 30 • ROTOWIRE
Double-digit targets in wild loss Tibbs posted six receptions (on 10 targets) for 45 yards during Saturday's 51-47 loss against Utah.
Impact Tibbs posted double-digit targets for the third time this season. With number one wideout Jayce Brown out for the season, it makes sense that Tibbs saw double-digit targets for the first time since Week 6 at Baylor. Tibbs is now the number one wideout for the team and has at least two catches in seven straight games. Kansas State leaned heavily on their run game with great success against Utah as QB Avery Johnson continues to struggle with accuracy. Kansas State has an excellent matchup with Colorado to end the regular season.
NOVEMBER 24 • ROTOWIRE
Seven targets in slugfest Tibbs gathered in 2 of 7 targets for 38 yards during Saturday's 14-6 victory over Oklahoma State.
Impact Tibbs led the way for the Wildcats with seven targets, his sixth straight game with at least five targets. He's likely due for even more targets as WR Jayce Brown sustained a serious arm injury that will keep him out the rest of the year. Tibbs has been a possession receiver for the Wildcats with 37 catches (on 65 targets) for 495 yards and three touchdowns. If Kansas State is going to compete with Utah next week, they'll need Tibbs to step up.
NOVEMBER 16 • ROTOWIRE
Five targets in loss Tibbs caught 3 of 5 targets for 54 yards during Saturday's 43-20 defeat against Texas Tech.
Impact Tibbs recorded at least five targets in his fifth straight game. He's received a healthy dose of opportunities this year which has allowed him to average 3.9 catches per game (on 6.4 targets per game). His ceiling has been low at 50.8 receiving yards per game and just three touchdowns across nine games. Kansas State should have an easier time moving the ball versus Oklahoma State next week.
NOVEMBER 2 • ROTOWIRE
Nabs third TD in 2025 season Tibbs notched two receptions (on five targets) for 43 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 42-17 win versus Kansas.
Impact Tibbs grabbed his third touchdown of the season which is a career-high for the transfer receiver. He has at least five targets in seven of eight games this year and is a pivotal piece in the Wildcats' offense. Jayce Brown is more of the home-run threat while Tibbs plays more of a possession receiver role with more targets. Kansas State will need both Tibbs and Brown to play well if they're going to compete with Texas Tech next week.
OCTOBER 26 • ROTOWIRE
Hauls in three catches in win Tibbs caught 3 of 5 targets for 51 yards during Saturday's 41-28 win over TCU.
Impact Tibbs has at least five targets in six of seven games this year. In that one game where he didn't have five targets, he had four targets at Arizona in Week 3. With that many opportunities, it's a bit surprising that he has just two touchdowns on the year. QB Avery Johnson has made an effort to throw the ball more in 2025, so there's a good chance Tibbs is a candidate to score when the team plays at Kansas in Week 9.
OCTOBER 12 • ROTOWIRE
Six grabs and 80 yards in loss Tibbs notched six receptions (on nine targets) for 80 yards during Saturday's 35-34 defeat versus Baylor.
Impact Tibbs has received at least four targets in all six games this year. He's been the team's possession receiver while Jayce Brown has been the explosive playmaker on the outside. Tibbs has seen an uptick in work over the last two weeks with 14 catches (on 19 targets) for 152 yards. That type of volume suggests a touchdown or two is coming and it could come as early as this week against TCU.
OCTOBER 5 • ROTOWIRE
Receives season-high 10 targets Tibbs hauled in 8 of 10 targets for 72 yards during Saturday's 34-20 victory against UCF.
Impact Tibbs stepped up against UCF with Kansas State dealing with a multitude of injuries at the WR position. Both Jayce Brown and Jerand Bradley are dealing with some ailments which helped Tibbs post the season-high 10 targets. If those injuries continue, Tibbs is an intriguing option at Baylor next week. The transfer receiver has 21 grabs (on 32 targets) for 229 yards and two touchdowns through five games.

Nabs TD in back-to-back weeks Tibbs logged five receptions (on six targets) for 61 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 24-21 defeat versus Army.
Impact Tibbs has recorded touchdowns in back-to-back performances for the Wildcats. He accounted for the only offensive touchdown for Kansas State against Army. With Kansas State's defense struggling mightily during the first three games of the season, it's likely Tibbs continues to see significant targets. They'll play at Arizona on Friday Night next week.

Grabs first TD with Wildcats Tibbs recorded three receptions (on seven targets) for 55 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 38-35 win against North Dakota.
Impact Tibbs, a Purdue transfer, grabbed his first touchdown with the Wildcats. His seven targets tied Jerand Bradley for second on the team as Jayce Brown led the way with an eye-popping 16 targets. It's clear that the Wildcats need to throw the ball more than they have in the past as Avery Johnson surpassed 300 passing yards in a single game for the first time in his career. That sets up well for Tibbs who could have increased opportunities when Brown goes up against tougher cornerbacks. Kansas State will play Army next week.
AUGUST 31 • ROTOWIRE
Four catches in season debut Tibbs compiled four receptions (on five targets) for 35 yards during Saturday's 24-21 defeat versus Iowa State.
Impact Tibbs grabbed four balls in his season debut at Kansas State. The Purdue transfer had 25 grabs in 11 games last year. He's part of a talented receiver group, so QB Avery Johnson should have all the weapons he needs for a big year through the air. Kansas State plays North Dakota next week.

Signs with Kansas State Tibbs has signed with the Cougars for the 2025 season, Pete Nakos of On3.com reports.

Bids West Lafayette farewell Tibbs will enter the transfer portal, Pete Nakos of On3.com reports.
Impact Tibbs caught 25 passes for 305 yards and two touchdowns in his sophomore season. He showed some promising flashes, and should spark some interest in the portal from teams needing a bigger-bodied receiver. Tibbs should have two seasons of eligibility remaining.
DECEMBER 5, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Scores in wild OT thriller Tibbs gathered in all four targets for 51 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 50-49 overtime loss to Illinois.
Impact Tibbs caught an eight-yard touchdown pass during this back-and-forth second half shootout. This marked the sophomore wideout's just second career touchdown and his first since Week 1 versus Indiana State. Tibbs logged 11 catches for 89 yards through the first five games of the season, but he tied with junior wideout Jahmal Edrine for the Boilermakers' second-most targets Saturday. Quarterback Ryan Browne also finished with three touchdown passes while making his first start in place of an injured Hudson Card (concussion). With Card's status up in the air, Browne could be in line to start again during next week's home game versus Oregon. However, it will likely be a longshot for Tibbs to haul in a touchdown for the second week in a row.
OCTOBER 14, 2024 • ROTOWIRE
Scores in season opener Tibbs caught all four targets for 30 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 49-0 victory versus Indiana State.
Impact Tibbs was one of for Purdue receivers to catch a touchdown pass from quarterback Hudson Card, who went 24-for-25 passing for 273 yards for four scores Week 1. The 6-foot-3 sophomore got his score on an eight-yard touchdown early in the second quarter, and he finished third on the team team in targets behind Jahmal Edrine (five) and tight end Max Klare (five) on Saturday. Tibbs caught just five passes across eight appearances in 2023, though it appears he could be on top for a much more significant role this year. It will be worth monitoring if his target share changes when the Boilermakers next play versus Notre Dame on Saturday, Sept. 14.
