Impact The senior missed a golden chance against a soft Ducks run defense. Part of the problem is that Oregon pulled away in the second half which forced Oregon State to throw the ball. Recently Griffin has had the better of what was expected to be a timeshare with Anthony Hankerson. But Hankerson tallied 57 rushing yards, but it took him 15 carries. The senior will have a shot to regain the lead role or at the very least feast on the Purdue defense in the next game, Sept. 21. The Boilermakers' rushing defense is near the bottom of the country against the run, averaging 234 yards per game.
