Signs with East Tennessee State Criswell has signed with East Tennessee State, according to Pete Nakos of On3.com.

Impact Even though Criswell was one of the transfer portal's better quarterbacks available, he will enroll at a non-FBS university for his 2025 season. During 2024, the senior quarterback broke out with more than 2,500 all-purpose yards and 15 passing touchdowns.

Goes to locker room Criswell exited Saturday's bowl game against UConn and went to the locker room with an apparent left shoulder injury, Rivals.com reports.

Impact Criswell walked back to the locker room holing his left shoulder and was replaced by Michael Merdinger (transfer portal). While it's encouraging that the injury isn't to his throwing arm, it's unclear if Criswell will be able to return.
