He'll look to make an impact, perhaps in an H-back role in new offensive coordinator Jeff Grimes' system, in his redshirt senior season in Madison.

Impact Acker caught just the second touchdown pass of his career, breaking free downfield on a wheel route for a 26-yard touchdown that put the Badgers on the board in the second quarter. The redshirt sophomore has seen the most significant usage of his career this season after previous No. 2 running back Chez Mellusi went down with a season-ending leg injury Week 4. Acker continued to do so by spelling junior running back Braelon Allen (22 carries, 62 yards, two touchdowns) during Saturday's comeback win. Acker should once again serve as Allen's understudy during this coming Saturday's regular-season finale against Minnesota.
