As a result, the southpaw was able to pull off the upset over the Mustangs, putting the cap on a regular season that accumulated 1,921 passing yards, 18 touchdowns and nine picks in eight games. East Carolina now enters the postseason with a 3-6 record, which they'll wait to see if it's enough to earn a bowl invite.
