Sooners begin tight end rebuild with veteran SEC transfer commitment Florida TE Hayden Hansen commits to Oklahoma

Joining Sooners Hansen has committed to Oklahoma, Hayes Fawcett of On3.com reports.

Impact Hansen spent the last three seasons with Florida, totaling 57 catches for 611 yards and five touchdowns. He drew 50 targets in 2025. Already considered one of the top TEs in the SEC, Hansen will look to build upon that reputation with the Sooners.

Hitting portal Hansen intends to enter his name in the NCAA transfer portal, per Graham Hall of 247Sports.com.

Impact Hansen will enter the portal following three seasons with Florida. The 6-foot-7 tight end caught 30 passes for 254 yards and a pair of touchdowns across 12 games for the Gators this past season. He will retain a single year of eligibility at his next destination.
