Set to miss time
Richardson has a "lower extremities" injury and will miss some time according to Wildcats' head coach Brent Brennan, per Justin Spears of the Arizona Daily Star.
Impact
Richardson left Arizona's loss to BYU with a lower body injury, and it'll be one that holds the wideout out for some time, although the duration if his injury wasn't specified other than "a little bit." In his stead, expect more targets for Chris Hunter and Isaiah Mizell, among others.

Excellent in opener
Richardson reeled in all eight targets for 96 yards during Saturday's 35-7 victory versus Northern Arizona.
Impact
Richardson started his season very well Saturday as he led the team in receptions, yards and targets. He and Noah Fifita were on the same page completely and it looked like Richardson is going to be a key outlet for Fifita in the slot. Richardson also had one rushing attempt for 17 yards, showing that the Wildcats want the ball in his hands in a variety of ways. He faces a much more difficult matchup Saturday at BYU.

Top two receiver in camp
Richardson was noted as one of the top two receivers for Arizona during fall camp, per Justin Spears of Tucson.com.
Impact
Coming off a freshman season in which he totaled just 299 yards in 11 games, Richardson appears set to see an expanded role within the Arizona offense in 2026. The 5-foot-10 receiver was named along with fellow receiver Chris Hunter as the top two options for the Wildcats, indicating they will see a large portion of the volume in the Arizona passing attack.
