Slated for backup role Morehead is in line to be Old Dominion's backup quarterback after Grant Wilson was named the starter, per David Hall of the Virginian-Pilot reports.

Impact Morehead transferred in from Boston College in the offseason on the heels of a limited season in which he appeared in four games and tossed for 124 yards, no touchdowns and no interceptions while completing 50 percent of his passes. He appears to have lost the quarterback battle to the incumbent Wilson, however, which doesn't come as much of a surprise given the difference in the two gunslingers' production.
