Impact Davis spent three years at Louisiana-Lafayette, and was highly productive across the last two, totaling 1,559 rushing yards and 15 rushing touchdowns, also catching 21 passes for 165 yards and a score. With two seasons of eligibility remaining, he'll take his talents to the Power Four level, where he'll hope to help lead Virginia Tech's revival under new head coach James Franklin.

Impact Davis is coming off a big breakout season in which he ran for 796 yards and nine touchdowns on 4.9 yards-per-carry. Still, Ragin' Cajuns also return Zylan Perry, who ran for 695 yards and four touchdowns on 6.2 yards-per-carry. That's two highly productive backs for this offense to lean on, so it makes sense that both have been deemed starters ahead of Week 1. Still, it's unclear how exactly the carry distribution will shake out.
