He also set a season high with 108 receiving yards as he saw four targets in his fourth straight contest. The offense continued to get him involved on the ground too as he received four carries in his second straight game. Even on fairly limited touches, Heidenreich's consistent ability to make big plays makes him a very valuable option for the rest of the season.

He has caught four passes in each of his three games this season and is clearly Blake Horvath's favorite target in the passing game as he has caught over half of Horvath's completions this season. Impact Heidenreich scored a pair of receiving touchdowns Saturday, a nine-yarder from Blake Horvath in the second quarter and then a 20-yarder from Braxton Woodson early in the third quarter. He also caught a 2-point conversion late in the first half. While he's listed as a running back, he established himself as Navy's best option in the passing game last season, scoring four touchdowns and leading the team in targets.
