Committing to Minnesota Biber announced his committment to play for Minnesota for the 2025 season via his X account Thursday.

Impact Biber will stay in conference, joining Minnesota following three years with Purdue. The junior tight end caught 13 passes for 113 scoreless yards for the Boilermakers in 2024 and will look to make a bigger impact with the Golden Gophers. Biber will retain a single year of eligibility with Minnesota.

Impact The Boilermakers are bowl-eligible, so it remains to be seen if Biber will play one final game for Purdue. Either way, he's set to look for a new team in the offseason. The 6-foot-5, 245-pound tight end has 15 career catches for 135 yards and a touchdown.

Impact Biber was limited as a tight end in West Lafayette last season, reeling in just one catch - although it did go for 16 yards and a touchdown. He missed the Boilermakers' spring game, but appears to be working his way back to the field. He was only seen doing individual drills in the video, but any return to the field is a good sign for the tight end who will look to be full go by the time Purdue's season kicks off on Aug. 31.
