Impact Black caught 22 passes for 273 yards and two scores last season at UCF. He appears primed to build off that in 2026 with South Carolina, where he's playing his way into a significant role in the passing game.

Signs with South Carolina Black has signed with South Carolina, Chris Hummer of 247Sports reports.

Impact Black's 2025 season is a tale of two halves. During their first, the wide receiver impressed, logging 15 receptions for 241 yards (16.1 averaged per catch) and two touchdowns. The second is much more disappointing, more than seven times fewer yardage plus zero TDs. Even though transferring from Central Florida to South Carolina would result in a more difficult challenge, USC's receiver corps definitely needing some improvement may benefit Black, who has one year of collegiate eligibility remaining.

Impact Black will look for a new program ahead of the 2026 campaign after totaling 22 receptions for 273 yards and two touchdowns for UCF in 2025. He spent the previous two seasons at the Division II level.

That one play gave him his best performance of the season. However, he has not received more than four targets in a game this season which is not high enough volume to remain consistent.

Catches game-winning TD Black caught three passes for 59 yards and a touchdown during Thursday's 17-10 win over Jacksonville State.

Impact Black secured the game-winning touchdown Thursday with a 39-yard reception from Tayven Jackson with just a minute left to play in the season opener. He finished second on the team with 59 yards on just three catches. It was a solid way to start the season for the Division-II transfer.

Heading to UCF Black has committed to play for UCF for the 2025 season, per the team's official X account.

Impact Black will join the Knights following two years with D-II Limestone University. The former South Carolina walk-on caught 32 passes for 673 yards and eight touchdowns across seven games for the Saints in 2024. He will retain two years of eligiblity with UCF moving forward.
