Decides to leave Washington Williams has decided to enter the transfer portal, Justin Spears of the Arizona Daily Star reports.

Impact Williams had agreed to a deal to return to Washington for the 2026 season, but the quarterback seems to have changed his mind and will now enter the portal. He should command interest from several top programs across the nation after a 2025 campaign in which he posted a 25:8 TD:INT while completing 69.5 percent of his passes for 3,065 yards.

Impact Williams will make his return to the Huskies after a successful 2025 season as the team's starting quarterback. In 13 games this past campaign, the second-year quarterback completed 69.5 percent of passes for 3,065 yards with 25 touchdowns and eight interceptions. He also logged 143 rushes for 611 yards and six scores on the ground. Williams was a stud at the QB position this year, and he'll have a lot of eyes on him to replicate what ended up being a dominant sophomore season.
