Leaving the Aggies Demas is entering the transfer portal, Pete Thamel of ESPN.com reports.

Impact Demas will transfer after seeing very limited action over his first two seasons with Texas A&M. The wideout played in just nine total games with the Aggies, recording 15 catches for 235 yards and one touchdown in 2020 before going down for the final two games of the season with a leg injury. The former high-level five-star recruit out of high school had been indefinitely suspended by Texas A&M after he was charged with domestic assault in early March of 2022.

Impact Demas is still rounding into for due to an injury that kept him out of practice for much of camp. Returns to practice this week Demas (suspension) returned to practice on Tuesday, Travis L. Brown of The Bryan-College Station Eagle reports.

Impact Demas was suspended by the school back in March stemming from an arrest. This was his first practice since then and it's unclear where he will shake out in the receiving rotation. However, his return to the team would seem to suggest he's been reinstated from his suspension.

Impact Demas' suspension likely stems from his March 16 arrest in College Station on a marijuana charge. The redshirt freshman wideout will miss the Aggies' entire spring program while he serves his suspension, and it's unclear if he'll be cleared before the start of the regular season. A highly-regarded recruit from the 2020 signing class, Demas appeared in just two games for the Aggies as a true freshman and recorded no receptions.
