Impact Cephas, a Penn State transfer, was able to post a season-high in catches against the Sun Devils. Prior to this game, he had six catches for 55 yards on 15 targets. Kansas State was forced to throw the ball for most of the game because they fell behind early and were down 21-0 at halftime. Kansas State will play Cincinnati next week.

Impact Cephas finally showed up on the stat sheet after an extremely unimpressive start to his time in Happy Valley. The Kent State transfer was expected to be an impact playmaker for Penn State's passing offense with new starting quarterback Drew Allar. Instead, he never caught more than two passes through the first eight games, tallying just 146 rushing yards over that period. Cephas finally looked like one of the team's go-to pass catchers Week 10, as he tallied the second-most targets behind wideout KeAndre Lambert-Smith (12) and Tyler Warren (eight). Cephas also caught two of the four passing touchdowns from Allar on Saturday. The Nittany Lions will likely need Cephas to make an impact once again in order to beat conference heavyweight Michigan in Week 11.

Lands with Penn State Cephas announced Sunday via his personal Twitter page that he is transferring to Penn State.

Impact Cephas was one of the top remaining wideouts in the portal before choosing his next destination Sunday evening. He was not a highly touted recruit out of high school but held offers from some big name programs such as Georgia, Notre Dame and Oklahoma. He burst onto the scene in 2021, catching 82 passes for 1,240 yards and nine touchdowns. He followed that up this year with another 48 grabs for 744 yards and three scores. Cephas will have two years of eligibility remaining, and should make an immediate impact next season with Drew Allar under center.
