Scores game winner Key accrued four receptions (on seven targets) for 43 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 34-31 win versus Maryland.
Impact Overall, Key had a decent day against the Terrapins, catching four passes for 43 yards and a touchdown. The 6-foot-3 receiver showed up when the team needed him, however, connecting with quarterback Dylan Raiola on a three-yard scoring strike with just over a minute remaining in the fourth quarter, giving the Cornhuskers the final lead of the game. While he hasn't been a huge contributor on the season, Key has been an important part of the Nebraska offense, catching 20 passes for 269 yards and four touchdowns through the team's first six contests. His next chance will come against Minnesota on Friday.

Quiet against Michigan Key tallied three receptions (on four targets) for 36 yards during Saturday's 30-27 defeat against Michigan.
Impact Key was mostly held in check throughout the day, totaling just 36 yards on 12 yards per reception. The 6-foot-3 receiver was coming off a game in which he led the team in receiving yards while extending his scoring streak to three games to start the 2025 season, so his performance against the Wolverines was definitely disappointing. Better days are ahead, with his next opportunity coming against Michigan State following next week's bye.

Finds end zone in opener Key hauled in all six targets for 51 yards and one touchdown during Thursday's 20-17 win over Cincinnati.
Impact Key connected with quarterback Dylan Raiola on a three-yard touchdown pass in the fourth quarter, giving the Huskers a 10-point lead at the time. While the 6-foot-3 senior tied fellow receiver Nyziah Hunter for the team lead with six receptions on the day, his efficiency should provide encouragement for fantasy managers along with his volume.
