Career day in OT loss Hatcher broke out on the ground with 93 yards on 17 carries and a touchdown in Oregon State's 27-24 loss in overtime to Houston on Saturday.
Impact The total on the day led all the Beavers ball carriers. Before Saturday's game, the redshirt freshman only had five carries on 24 yards in a couple games. The 18-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter was also Hatcher's first college touchdown. Oregon State takes on Appalachian State on Saturday, Oct. 4. While the Mountaineers defense is top 10 in the nation against the run, Appalachian State has faced a relatively weak schedule.
