It was a tough campaign in Legas' final season as he completed 54 percent of his passes for 1,144 yards, 12 touchdowns and six interceptions, adding 201 yards and a touchdown on the ground.

Impact Legas did not start Saturday's game but he replaced Kirk Francis in the second quarter after Francis struggled and the Golden Hurricane fell down 20-0. Legas led his team to a touchdown on his first drive, capped off by a 31-yard touchdown pass to Bill Jackson, but then lost a fumble that was returned for a touchdown later in the quarter and he and his team went into halftime down 35-7. Legas was spectacular in the second half though as he led four straight touchdown drives -- three of which culminated in passing touchdowns to Kamdyn Benjamin -- and he threw the game-winning score to Benjamin with a minute left in the game. It was an electric performance from him and one that seems likely to earn him the starting job this Saturday at UAB.
