Grabs receiving score in win Kellom accrued 21 rushes for 69 yards and caught 3 of 4 targets for 33 yards and one touchdown during Tuesday's 21-14 overtime win over Toledo.

Impact With Jordan Simmons out against the Rockets, Kellon saw an elevated role as the Zips' lead rusher. Kellom had a season-high 21 carries and also grabbed the 25-yard OT receiving touchdown for Akron to win the game. Although Simmons is a junior and Kellom is a sophomore, the duo could work in tandem next year or Kellom could at least see an elevated role.

Impact Kellom's performance came out of no where, though the Zips finally did find a team astronomically worse than them in the Golden Flashes. The backup running back outpaced his five games combined in terms of rushing yards, though his role will be a mystery as the Zips take on Toledo next week.

Gets receiving score vs Colgate Kellom accrued 11 rushes for 30 yards and brought in five catches for 36 yards and a touchdown during Saturday's 31-20 victory over Colgate.

Impact Kellom ended up out-carrying the traditional RB1 Jordon Simmons, and Kellom also showcased an impressive receiving ability. The 5-foot-11 running back looks to be a force in Akron's offense moving forward.
