Impact Townsend has officially made his return to the practice field, though the player was off-limits to contact, sporting a golden jersey. The 6-foot-0 wide receiver is currently listed behind several Red Raider receivers, including Nehemiah Martinez, Brady Boyd and Trey Cleveland. Townsend's return to the practice is an encouraging sign as the team prepares for Murray State on Sept 3.
