After going a flawless 4-of-4 for 68 yards and his lone passing touchdown on the Huskers opening drive of the game, the junior signal-caller only completed 10 of his 16 passes while being sacked four times. Nevertheless, Thompson still finished with his highest completion percentage of the season (70 percent), and he should see easier competition when Nebraska next faces Indiana on Oct. 1.
