Impact Nelson has been impressing coaches throughout camp due to his size and speed after making the switch from receiver to tight end this offseason. He could have a chance to carve out a role for himself as one of the team's top tight ends.

Available for fall camp Nelson (undisclosed) is healthy for Nebraska's fall camp, Sam McKewon of the Omaha World-Herald reports.
Impact McKewon quoted another Nebraska tight end in Luke Lindenmeyer, who revealed Nelson was a participant when the Cornhuskers' fall camp began Monday. Now 240 pounds, he will look to build off his promising 2024, which includes 86 receiving yards and one touchdown.
