Impact Conklin will compete with E.J. Warner once again for the starting job, with the victor drawing the start for the Arizona Bowl. In four games this season, Conklin has thrown for 354 yards and a 1:2 TD:INT.

In two starts, the sophomore has completed 30 of 63 throws for 217 yards and a pair of interceptions. It remains to be seen whether Fresno State will stick with Conklin or turn back to E.J. Warner in Week 12, following a bye, against Wyoming.

Impact After E.J. Warner threw three interceptions in a loss to Colorado State last week, the Bulldogs turned to Conklin under center against the Aztecs. It didn't go much better for the sophomore quarterback -- Conklin completed just 47.6 percent of his pass attempts while throwing two picks in a shutout defeat. Conklin joined Fresno State after throwing for 2,876 yards with 28 touchdowns and eight interceptions last year with FCS Sacramento State. It remains to be seen who'll be under center next week in a tough road matchup with Boise State.
