Impact Smith caught his first career touchdown reception Saturday, a 38-yard score in the third quarter. After receing just four targets over the first three games, Smith was targeted five times Saturday and made the most of the opportunity with 86 yards, the second most on the team. His increase in workload early into his freshman campaign is very promising, but it's too early to tell if it will translate consistently into Big 12 play.
