Won't return for bowl game Nesbit (wrist) will not be back for the team's bowl game against UConn on Dec. 28, Chris Smith of Heel Tough Blog reports.
Impact Nesbit underwent surgery for a fractured wrist in mid-October and it will end up costing him the rest of the season. Out for regular-season finale Nesbit (wrist) is out for the Tar Heels' game Saturday against North Carolina State, Rivals.com reports.
Impact About a month and a half was not enough for Nesbit to announce he would undergo surgery and recover from it in time before the 2024 Tar Heels ended their regular season. Ideally for him, they still win their rivalry game against North Carolina State and qualify a bowl game, which would extend his potential availability for this year by at least one more matchup.
