Impact Schott returned to Indiana's fall camp after missing the spring practice period due to labrum surgery and produced a productive camp, as he is noted to be a breakout candidate in the Hoosiers' offense this season. Now fully healthy, he'll look to lead the tight end group after seeing limited action with Miami last season.

Impact Schott caught two passes for 24 yards as a freshman with the Hurricanes, and elected to transfer to Indiana after just one year in Coral Gables. However, and injury he dealt with while he was still a hurricane is preventing him from participating in spring practice in Bloomington, which could limit his involvement with the Hoosiers' offense early on.
