Yanked in fourth quarter Peters completed 10 of his 18 passes for 116 yards and two touchdowns before being pulled for Isaiah Williams during the fourth quarter of Saturday's game versus Iowa. Impact Peters began the game strong, going 8-for-8 for 101 yards and a pair of touchdowns before things went south. He proceeded to complete just two of his next 10 pass attempts for 15 yards before head coach Lovie Smith decided to give backup Isaiah Wiliams a shot under center. Williams didn't fare much better as a passer, completing just seven of his 16 pass attempts for 83 yards and a score, but Williams does provide an added element of mobility, running for an additional 38 yards on six carries. Peters seems likely to retain his starting duties for the season finale next Saturday versus Northwestern but may not be guaranteed the starting job should he return for 2021.
