The redshirt sophomore didn't score a touchdown until he hit wideout Vinny Anthony in the end zone for a 15-yard score late in the third quarter. The lone bright spot on Locke's final stat sheet was that he did not throw a turnover for the first time since his season debut Week 3 versus Alabama. With the Badgers now eliminated from bowl contention, Locke finishes his 2024 campaign with a 55.4 completion percentage for 1,936 yards and 13 touchdowns to 10 interceptions. With the Badgers still looking for a new offensive coordinator to replace Phil Longo, it's unclear if or how Locke will figure into Wisconsin's future plans at quarterback moving forward.

Impact Locke had his best outing since the 52-3 win against Purdue in Week 6. The redshirt junior got to air the ball out as the Badgers fought to come back from a 27-10 halftime deficit. Locke found 6-foot-3 wideout Bryson on two jump-ball passes into the end zone before once again going long to speedster Vinny Anthony for a 58-yard score in the fourth quarter. The redshirt junior quarterback's lone interception came on a ball that hit his receiver in the hands before bouncing up into the air. Locke's performance was somewhat surprising considering that the Badgers moved on from offensive coordinator Phil Longo earlier in the week. He'll look to do whatever he has to do to get a win and secure a bowl berth for the Badgers in this Friday's regular-season finale versus Minnesota.

Logs 96 passing yards in loss Locke was 12-for-28 passing for 96 yards, one touchdown and one interception during Saturday's 16-13 loss against Oregon.

Impact Locke couldn't move the ball for most of the game against the Ducks. While he was facing a tough defense, the redshirt sophomore continuously showed his shortcomings with off-target throws and overall poor quarterback play. Half of Locke's passing yards came on a 43-yard completion to deep-threat wideout Vinny Anthony down the left sideline in the second quarter. This big play set up the Badgers' lone touchdown on a two-yard screen to wideout Will Pauling just before halftime. But, Locke ultimately cost his team throughout the game, culminating on the team's final offensive series when he threw a pass that was tipped at the line of scrimmage and intercepted to end the game. Locke has now thrown at least one interception in all seven of his starts this season, and he's averaged 208.0 passing yards while completing 55.8 percent of his passes over that span.

Locke's back-to-back poor performances have come against a pair of elite defenses, but that certainly doesn't spell much optimism heading into the Badgers' next game versus No. 1-ranked Oregon on Saturday, Nov. 16.

With RB1 Tawee Walker limited to just 59 rushing yards on 22 carries, Locke had to work without the support of a complementary rushing game, resulting in his most passing attempts and his lowest yards per attempt (5.2) of any of his five starts this season. He has also tallied eight touchdowns to seven turnovers over this span. Locke will likely have to raise his game for the Badgers to get a win on the road against a tough Iowa defense next week.

Nevertheless, he showed strong command of the offense, and he got into the end zone for a one-yard score with just under five minutes left, marking the first rushing touchdown of his career. Locke will look to keep building upon his back-to-back prolific performances when the Badgers head back on the road to face Northwestern in Week 8.

Impact Locke bounced back after last week's second-half collapse against USC with a career-best outing against a reeling Purdue squad. The redshirt junior was choppy to start with two interceptions in the first half. But, he settled in and started connecting with the Badgers' most-explosive playmakers, first finding wideout Vinny Anthony over the middle of the field for a runaway 52-yard touchdown. Locke then connected on touchdowns passes of 69 and 25 yards to sophomore Trech Kekahuna in the second half. The signal-caller finished with the seventh-most single-game passing yards in Wisconsin history. However, this was still against probably the worst team in the Big Ten this season. He'll face a much stiffer defense during next week's road game at Rutgers.

Up-and-down in first start of 2024 Locke was 13-for-26 passing for 180 yards, one touchdown and one interception during Saturday's 38-21 defeat to USC.

Impact Locke got out to a 21-10 lead in his first start in place of Tyler Van Dyke (knee-ACL). The redshirt sophomore went 6-for-11 passing for 130 yards in the first half, including a 63-yard touchdown to Vinny Anthony and a 35-yard completion on another go-ball for Bryson Green. But, Locke and the Badgers' offense then completely fell flat, getting outscored 28-0 in the second half. They hit rock bottom when one of Locke's passes was deflected up into the air downfield and was intercepted by linebacker Mason Cobb for a 55-yard pick-six. Aside from two deep passes in the first half, Locke showed no significant improvements from his near-full game performance after Van Dyke was injured against Alabama two weeks ago. Locke and the Badgers' offense will look to pick things back up when they welcome 1-3 Purdue to Camp Randall this coming Saturday.
