Receiving carries in fall camp Schipper (arm) worked in at tailback during Wisconsin's first-team sessions in practice Monday, Matt Belz of SI.com reports.

Impact Schipper was limited during Wisconsin's spring practices after suffering an arm injury during the team's bowl game at the end of the 2021 campaign. The senior tailback saw carries along with fellow backups Isaac Guerendo and Julius Davis on Monday, and these three should continue to vie for reps behind starters Braelon Allen and Chez Mellusi during the team's fall camp. Schipper may also be able to provide a pass-catching presence out of the backfield after he collected seven receptions for 70 yards last season.

Impact Schipper, who suffered an arm injury in the Las Vegas Bowl, was active for eight games in 2021, logging 128 yards on 28 carries for Wisconsin. The 5-foot-11 junior also played a receiving role for the Badgers, hauling in seven catches for 70 yards. The junior will work to carve out a role in 2022 in a crowded backfield that includes standout freshman Braelon Allen and junior transfer Chez Mellusi.
