Throws touchdown, pick in relief Allen completed 6 of 9 passes for 69 yards, one touchdown and one interception during Saturday's 51-17 win versus Eastern Kentucky.

Impact Allen relieved Louisville quarterback Miller Moss after it became evident that the Cardinals wold cruise to an easy victory versus FCS Eastern Kentucky. However, like Moss, Allen also threw an interception. Still, he added in a touchdown and threw for an efficient 69 yards. Louisville could in in trouble if we see Allen a lot this fall, but he could be the primary backup at the moment.

Impact Allen withdrawing his portal entry gives him at least a chance to participate in the 2024 Sun Bowl scheduled for Dec. 31. The quarterback's playing chances are especially more improved with Tyler Shough (pro draft prep) out against Washington then.

Impact Allen will enter the portal following two seasons with Louisville. The redshirt sophomore quarterback spent a single season with Purdue before heading to Louisville in the portal. The former Boilermaker appeared in just two games for the Cardinals this season without attempting a pass in just three snaps.
